The next day, I went to work like I normally would and answered the phone all morning. Just when I was getting bored of it, Haga-san sent me out for deliveries which I happily accepted.

As I walk through the streets, I notice something's wrong. "Hmmm?" I let out. Pash sticks her head out of my bag. "What's the matter, (Y/N)?" She asked. "Well, it might be my imagination, but there's a lot of girls out today. Like they're walking around looking for something. Is there any events going on?" I explain. "There aren't any events going on today." Pash says after a bit as I keep walking on. "Hmm, what's going on, then?" I ask myself before hearing a familiar set of voices.

"(Y/N)-san!" Kou and Hajima call out to me. "Ah, Kou! Hajima!" I say as I walk over to them. "We're happy we found you, (Y/N)-san. Can we ask you something?" Hajima says in a worried tone. "Of course! What's wrong? You two look worked up." I say.

"About that.. (Y/N)-san... Have you heard from Koujaku-san?" Kou asks. "Koujaku? I haven't, why?" I ask. "He said he was planning to open his shop today but he hasn't shown up yet." Hajima explains. "I've e-mailed and called him but he won't answer. Because of that, his costumers are just loitering around." Kou adds, looking into the streets.

'That explains the people walking around...' I think. "It's caught the team and his costumers attention. If things keep going on like this the police will get involved." Hajima explains. "That would get nasty..." Kou admits. I take in the situation and try to find a solution. "Ah that's right, just now we were about to head to Koujaku-san's place." Kou says. "I see... Let me try calling him now." I say, getting out my Coil.

"I'm not sure if he'll answer though.." Hajima says. "If he doesn't, we'll go to his apartment together." I say as my Coil rings. Soon afterwards I notice Koujaku picked up. "Ah, uh, hello? Koujaku?" I ask a little hesitantly. "Ah." I hear on the other end. "What's wrong? You said you were opening your shop today. Still tired? Your costumers are looking for you and Kou and Hajima are worried." I explain.

There's a little pause and then Koujaku starts talking. "Right, sorry. I'm sorry for causing trouble. It's just... I don't feel like working today." He says. "Are you feeling sick? Or maybe... is it because of yesterday?" I ask. I take the following silence as a yes. "Listen, if it happens that frequently, just take a break. Just make sure you tell someone." I say and Koujaku roughly sighs.

"Sorry for worrying you. For today I'll take a break. Tell Kou and Hajima I'm sorry. That's all, I'm sorry." Koujaku says before hanging up. I let out a bit of a sad sigh myself. "How was Koujaku-san?" Hajima asks. "He's taking a break today. He says he's sorry for worrying you." I explain. Kou and Hajima look at eachother and nod. "Right. (Y/N)-san, you're working now, right? We'll take care of Koujaku's costumers." Kou says and I nod in response.

"Right. I'll visit him later. Good luck with his costumers." I say and take another look at my destination. "Yup! See you!" Hajima says as he turns around, closely followed by Kou. While I walk on, I can hear their voices behind me. "Listen up! Koujaku-san's not coming today!" Hajima calls out. "Eh, why isn't he coming? He said he was going to be here today!" A couple of girls call out. "Come on, just deal with it! Shit happens so go home!" Kou says as they clear the streets of Koujaku's costumers.

I continued my deliveries afterwards. I sent Koujaku a message saying I'd visit him just in case, but I never got a response. Once I was done working, I head to his apartment in the South District. "I wonder if it's okay for me to go after all... He didn't respond to my message.." I say. "I don't think you need to worry about that, (Y/N)." Pash reassures me. I let out a deep sigh.

I really feel bad for Koujaku. With all of his costumers being like that, mostly, I can understand why he'd be tired. Yet, on the phone he sounded... Depressed, somehow? I walk up the stairs and ring the doorbell at Koujaku's door. After I wait for a bit, the door opens.

Koujaku pulls in a harsh breath before speaking. "Yes?" I gulp, he sounds pissed off. "H-hey." I say and smile awkwardly. Koujaku seems to realise who it is and sighs a bit. "...(Y/N)." He says. I nod before responding. "I'm glad you opened the door.. Did you get my message?" I ask.

"Ah, sorry. I didn't... It's just because ny costumers kept sending me messages so I just..." Koujaku starts. "No, it's okay." I shake my head. We stand in silence for a little bit before Koujaku speaks up again. "Are you coming in?" He asks. "I want to say yeah, but I don't think I should." I say, taking Koujaku by surprise. "You've got a terrible look on your face. So you probably have something you want to think about, right? If you're not ready to tell anyone, just think it over again. Just know.. Well, I'm here for you." I explain. Koujaku pulls in another breath.

"...(Y/N)." I smile at Koujaku. "That's all I wanted to say. I wanted to see you." I explain, before getting pulled into a hug. "U-uwah! Uh... In the hallway? Eh?" I let out in surprise. "You really would forgive me anything... I'm sorry, I'll definitely speak with you." Koujaku puts his face in my neck. "Ah, y-yeah..." I let out. "If you noticed this much... I'm no good." Koujaku sighs. "That's not true!" I gently push Koujaku back. "Everyone has times like these, you can't help it! If you feel like a bother, you gotta recover! If you don't do it for yourself, do it for me and everyone else!" I scold him.

Koujaku lets out a little chuckle. "Heh. That's right, isn't it?" He asks, pulling a hand through his hair. "Besides, if it's your "trouble" we're talking about... I don't care what I'm responsible for." Koujaku puts his hands on my shoulders. "Idiot, you'll soak it all up like that. But... Thank you, (Y/N). I'm glad you came to see me." Koujaku switches one hand over to my cheek and gently moves his thumb. I feel my cheeks heating up.

"Eheh, you're making a big deal of this... Kou and Hajima said it's fine if you want to reach out to them too." I say, earning a nod from Koujaku. "Well then... Good night, Koujaku." As I'm about to pull back, Koujaku pulls me towards him and locks lips with me. We soon part and Koujaku smiles ever so slightly.

"Good night, (Y/N)."
